 Chief Deputy

Eugene Bridges

 Chief Eugene Bridges currently serves as the Chief Deputy where he oversees and is responsible for the management of the Sheriff's Office. This is an executive staff position that reports directly to the Sheriff and functions as second in command for the Sheriff's Office. This is an advanced, administrative supervisory and technical law enforcement work position which exercise overall command of the following divisions: Administration, Communication, Investigation, Jail, Juvenile, Operations, and Training.

Chief Bridges is a lifelong resident of Tunica County where he became a graduate of Rosa Fort High School. Chief Bridges began his career with the Tunica County Sheriff's Office in 1996 and attended the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy (Class 179) - "We Face What We Fear." Chief Bridges has served in a number of leadership capacities, to include Mississippi Chiefs and Sheriffs Homeland Security Training Conference, prior to his appointment in his current role as Chief Deputy.

Chief Bridges has received several certifications in Crime Scene Investigation and Forensic Science; Jail Management & Operations; Digital Case File Management; Terrorism Trends & Tactics; Protective Operation Training; Equivocal Death & Cold Case Homicide and Public Safety Media Relations. He is also a graduate of the Department of Homeland Security Leadership Academy (Session 6) - "To Whom Much is Given, Much is Expected."

Assistant Chief Deputy

Jammie Lewis

Jammie Lewis started his law enforcement career in 2000 with the Tunica County Sheriff's Office as a Jail Officer. Over the past 20 years, Jammie Lewis has held positions as a Patrol Officer, Patrol Lieutenant, Patrol Captain, Patrol Major, and Commander.

While overseeing the patrol division, he developed strong community engagement ties within the community. He is dedicated to bringing residents together to enhance the quality of life for all.

As Commander, his responsibility was to oversee the Patrol Division, School Resource Officers, as well as the Sheriff's Office specialty units which includes the ERT, K-9, and Color Guard Team. He is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of officers and passing on his knowledge and experience to all officers to make the strong and needed community connections for the future.

On May 4, 2020, Commander Lewis was promoted to Assistant Chief Deputy where his position serves as an advanced administration, supervisory, and technical law enforcement work. He exercises supervision of the Administrative Division, Communications Division, Investigation Division, Jail Division, Juvenile Division, Operations Divisions, and Training Division.

Chief Lewis has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Northwest Mississippi Community College. He is a graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy Class of 2005 and the Mississippi Law Enforcement Command College.

Commander

Adrina Williams

Internal Affairs

Commander Adrina Williams currently serves in the Internal Affairs Division. Her duties include; serving as the Sheriff's Office representative in employee discipline, litigation, reviewing employee files, preparing and enforcing Sheriff's Office policies and procedures. Commander Williams also serves as a liaison for the Sheriff's Office with other county departments, divisions, and outside agencies. She helps negotiate and resolve significant and controversial issues, all at the direction of the Sheriff.

Commander Williams is 24-year law enforcement veteran. Her tenure began with the Sheriff's Office as a deputy sheriff in May 1996 in the patrol division, then as a criminal investigator in 1999. She was later promoted to sergeant and transferred to the narcotics division. In 2002, she continued in narcotics and was then promoted to lieutenant, supervising the division. In 2004 Commander Williams was promoted to major, transferring to internal affairs. From there she served as major in the patrol division and special operations, providing supervision and overseeing the mobile vision/audio recording system. In 2015, Commander Adrina Williams became the first female commander of the Tunica County Sheriff's Office.

Commander Williams holds an Associates of Arts Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration with a certificate in Management. She is also a graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer's Training Academy. She has attended courses in Leadership Traits, Managing Police Discipline, (Internal Affairs), Use of Force/Deadly Force (Internal Affairs), Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command College, Executive Protection/Force Protection, and several courses in narcotics at the Regional Counterdrug Training Academy. Commander Williams also served eight years in the Army National Guard.

Commander

Persundra Jones

Investigations & Day-to-Day Administration & Property/Evidence

 

Commander Persundra G. Jones currently serves as the Commander of the Criminal Investigation Division and the Administration Division. Commander Jones is responsible for day-to-day operations and activities providing leadership, direction, and management for both divisions. She is also responsible for implementing and administering compliance and enforcement for the Department and Division.

Commander Jones joined the Sheriff's Office in 2003 as a Deputy Sheriff. In 2006, she was promoted to the Criminal Investigation Division as an investigator, and was later assigned to Juvenile Investigations. In 2001, she was promoted to Lieutenant of Patrol. She was later assigned to Lieutenant of School Resource Officers. In 2014, she returned to the Criminal Investigation Division. In 2015, she was promoted to Captain of Investigations, later becoming Major of Investigations. She now serves as Commander of Investigations and Administration. Her career here at the Tunica County Sheriff's Office spans over 17 years.

Commander Jones holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Pre-Law from Mary Holmes College of West Point, Mississippi. She is currently attending Bethel University Professional Studies Program and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. 

Commander Jones is a 2004 graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy, a graduate of the Mississippi School Association of Resource Officers, a graduate of the University of Mississippi Command College, a graduate of FBI-LEEDA, and a graduate of the National Computer Forensic Institute where she earned her certification as a Mobile Device Examiner. She is a member of the Mississippi Association of Gang Investigators, the United States Secret Service Mid-South Electronic Crime Task Force, and the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Task Force.

Chief

Earl Dishmon

Senior Citizen Affairs

Chief Earl Dishmon began his career in law enforcement with the Tunica County Sheriff's Office in 1996 as a patrolman. During his employment with the Sheriff's Office, Chief Dishmon served in numerous capacities as Administrator to the Sheriff, Grants Coordinator and TRIAD liaison. In 2019, Chief Dishmon received his appointment to Chief Deputy of Public Relations for Sheriff Hamp. His duties and responsibilities consisted of working with the senior citizens and youth of Tunica County, as well as the overall general public.

Chief Dishmon worked for the Tunica County School District for 28 years from August of 1970 to May 1998. His duties were to oversee the operation of the school, create a safe and comfortable environment for teachers to teach, children to learn, and parents to work cooperatively with the school. During his tenure, his roles transitioned from teacher to Principal of Tunica Junior High School, Principal of Rosa Fort High School, and the Alternative School Director.

Chief Earl Dishmon was born and raised in Tunica County and is a graduate of the Rosa Fort High School Class of 1966. He attended Jackson State University and graduated in May of 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Arts. Chief Dishmon furthered his education at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS and graduated in May 1992 with a Masters of Education Degree in Administration and Supervision.

Bernadette Logan

Investigations

Major Bernadette Logan currently serves as the Major of the Investigations Division. Her day to day duties include supervision of Investigations, Narcotics, Warrant Division, Court Process Server, and Property and Evidence. Major Logan is the training officer for the Criminal Investigations Division and assists with functions of the Jail and Patrol Division. She is the mother of two adult sons.

Major Bernadette Logan is a native resident of Tunica County. She is a graduate of Rosa Fort High School where she received numerous honors and accolades. Major Logan became a mother to a son one month before graduating high school. She was determined to make a better life for her and her son, therefore, immediately following high school, she went directly into the work force. After many years of working in the gaming industry, with a longing desire to serve and protect others, she decided to step out on faith and apply as a Deputy at the Tunica County Sheriff's Office. Major Logan was hired by the Tunica County Sheriff's Office in May 2008 as a patrol deputy and later became a graduate of Mississippi Law Enforcement Officer's Training Academy in Pearl, Mississippi. Her lifelong goal was to pursue a career in law enforcement. Major Logan worked her way up the ranks by demonstrating good work ethic, respect for others and self, and a love of the job. She was promoted to Investigations as a detective in September 2012. As her law enforcement career progressed she also held the ranks of Lieutenant and Captain of Investigations.

Major Bernadette Logan is also a Certified Investigator. She completed 400 hours of training and graduated the Certified Investigations Program and the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy on May 17, 2018. She serves on the F.B.I. task force and has received numerous letters of accommodations. Major Logan has a wide range of certifications , including but not limited to: National Center for Biomedical Research and Training: Law Enforcement Prevention and Deterrence of Terrorist Acts; Rapid Response to Active Shooting Training; Basic Crisis Negotiation; Domestic Violence Laws and Victims' Rights; Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Investigations; Sex Offender Workshop; Police Officers Engage Shooting and Survival; Mexican Cartel Investigation; Executive/Force Protection training through the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security; Gulf Coast HIDTA Training concerning Drugs and Murder; Court Room Testimony; Homeland Security Incident Command; Crime Stoppers; Mental Health and First Aid; Cyber Investigations; Project Lifesaver; Sexual and Workplace Harassment; ALERT/Terrorism; Interviewing and Interrogation; Mississippi Law Human Trafficking Mississippi Organ Recovery; Autopsies through the Medical Examiner's Office; De-escalations/Victimology through the Mississippi Attorney General's Office; Tourniquet Training; Cold Case Investigations.

Major Bernadette Logan hopes to inspire upcoming youth to follow their dreams despite their background or circumstance.

Monolito Felix

Patrol

Mississippi native Major Monolito Felix has been serving the Tunica County Sheriff's Office for the past 19 years. His desire to protect and serve was inspired by Deputy John Hodges who worked for the Hinds County Sheriff's Office. In 1997, Major Felix started his law enforcement career at Hinds County Sheriff's Office, where he later joined the Jackson Police Department in 1999. In 2001, Major Felix began working at the Tunica County Sheriff's Office carrying out duty to serve and protect the Tunica County community.

During Major Felix's  time at the Tunica County Sheriff's Office, he has flourished under the leadership of Sheriff K.C. Hamp, Sr. Major Felix has moved through the ranks under the Sheriff's administration being promoted to Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and now Major of Patrol.

Felix executes many hats within the Tunica County Sheriff's Office such as Commander of the Emergency Response Team, Commander of the North Region Homeland Security Task Force, and an instructor in various training areas. Major Felix instructs and trains in multiple firearm use such as handguns, shotgun rifles, and precision rifles. Major Felix is also an active shooter instructor, ammunition instructor, and an instructor for the oleoresin capsicum (pepper-spray) survival class.

To serve and protect brings an attitude of service towards the community, which Felix is a strong exemplar. Major Felix continues to be an active force in the youth and younger generations in Tunica by participating in many youth activities - such as sports games, back to school events, and toy drives. Major Felix participates in food drives in the county to help fight and alleviate the burden of food insecurity for families. Major Felix has offered free active shooter classes to churches and other business establishments. These contributions are only a small show of the positive impact of the legacy Major Felix is paving, and he hopes to continue with his passion to serve and protect for many more years to come.

 Warden

Reginald Boykin

Jail Operations

 

Warden Reginald Boykin currently serves as Warden of the Tunica County Sheriff's Office Detention Center. In his role, he oversees the daily operations of the detention center, inmate classification,  inmate healthcare service and supervises a team of employees including a Lieutenant, Sergeants, Corporals, Deputy Jailers, administrative staff, and one Chaplain.

The mission of the Tunica County Detention Center is to maintain social order and provide professional detention services within prescribed ethical and constitutional limits.

Warden Boykin began his work in corrections as a Resident Supervisor with the Shelby County Training Center in Memphis, Tennessee in 1990, where he was employed until 2003. He began his tenure with the Tunica County Sheriff's Office in 2004 as the Assistant Warden.

In 2005, Warden Boykin was promoted to Warden for the Tunica County Sheriff's Office Detention Center where he continues to serve in his capacity. He has over 30 years of experience and expertise in Corrections.

Warden Boykin received the Board on Jail Officer Standards and Training in 2007 from the State of Mississippi, Supervisory Management from Mississippi Delta Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2004, the Basic Detention Officer Certification from the Criminal Justice Training Institute in 2004 and other certificates and training throughout his tenure.

Warden Boykin is a native of Tunica County and is a 1985 graduate of Rosa Fort High School. He attended Mississippi State University.

Communications Director

Shontina Reed

Shontina Reed received her appointment as Director of Communications on July 1, 2020.  She oversees the Communication Center, which is responsible for handling all incoming calls for service for law enforcement within Tunica County. 

Shontina came to the Tunica County Sheriff's Office in March 1999 as a receptionist.  Since being employed she has served in various positions in the agency: Records Clerk, Administrative Assistant (CID) and Executive Administrator to the Sheriff. 

Shontina is a graduate of Northwest Mississippi Community College where she received of A.A.S. degree in Computer Information Systems and is currently enrolled at Faulkner University to pursue her studies in Human Resource Management.

Administrator

Carolyn Gordon

 

Carolyn Gordon currently serves as the Administrator for the Tunica County Sheriff's Office. Carolyn Gordon joined the Sheriff's Office in 2015. She oversees and is responsible for the agency's business and support functions. Her duties include fiscal services such as payroll and assists with the Sheriff's Office and Jail Division Budget. Additionally, she works closely with the County staff on financial planning and other joint initiatives on behalf of the Sheriff. Gordon is the Supervisor over the Records Department, Grants Division, and Domestic Violence Coordinator.

Carolyn is a graduate of the Rosa Fort High School Class of 1987. Carolyn Gordon has 20 years experience as a banker in financial services from Sam's Town Casino and Hotel Tunica.

Gordon is certified in sexual harassment training, basic supervisory, FMLA compliance, Day to Day Management, Educational Developmental Skills, Staff Training with the Mississippi State Personnel Board, Payroll Law, HIPAA Changes and Beyond, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Leadership Traits - Assessing Leadership Styles and Decision Making, and Telecommunicators Emergency Response Taskforce.

Executive Administrator

Sharon Donner

Sharon Donner currently serves at the Tunica County Sheriff's Office as the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Sheriff. She became a part of the team at the Sheriff's Office in July 2020.

Sharon is a native resident of Tunica County, where she graduated in the top ten of her class at Rosa Fort High in 1999. Following high school graduation, she attended Northwest MS Community College. At the Sheriff's Office, Sharon is responsible for conducting internal and external communication to the Sheriff. She creates detailed financial reports for the Board Meetings. She analyzes documents such as incoming letters, emails, and contracts. She conducts orientation for new hires. Coordinates travel arrangement and create trip itineraries. Sharon also maintains and secures internal and external documents and reports. 

Prior to working at the Tunica County Sheriff's Office, Sharon has 21 years experience in manufacturing, finance, management and customer service from Pillowtex, Inc.,  Harrah's Casino and Hotel, Mississippi Department of Employment Security, and Citizens Bank and Trust Company. 

Donner has received Specialized Training, Certifications and Awards from over the years in the following: Star Performer Award for Superior Guest Service, Above and Beyond Service Recognition Award, Cyber Criminal Prevention Training, Emotional Intelligence Training, E-Verify Certification, Identity Verification and Compliance Certification, Information Security Preventing Identity Theft Certification, Handling Challenging Situations Certification, Security Awareness Training, Handling Violence in the Workplace Certification, Internal Customer Service Certification and Customer Service Confrontation and Conflict Certification.

Sharon is proud to say she is married to Minister Michael Donner Sr. for nearly 14 years and is a mother and a grandmother. Donner is also honored to share that she too is an evangelist of the Gospel.  Donner states "I just love people".  

I am honored to be here to serve and ready to learn more.

Clara Cupples serves as Tunica County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer and Grants Coordinator. Cupples is a lifelong resident of Tunica County and a graduate of Tunica Academy's Class of 2014. Following high-school graduation, Cupples attended Mississippi State University where she studied Communications with a concentration in Public Relations. Cupples graduated from Mississippi State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts, earning her degree with honors Magna Cum Laude.

Following graduation from Mississippi State University, Cupples returned to Tunica County and began work at Citizens Bank & Trust Company as a teller and loan processor. Cupples began working for the Tunica County Sheriff's Office in September of 2019.

As P.I.O., Cupples maintains external communication with the public. Cupples communicates on behalf of the Sheriff and T.C.S.O. with the community, partners, and various law enforcement agencies on a multitude of projects and topics through newsletters, brochures, pamphlets, and other written materials. This external communication is through press releases, interviews, social media, and other various outreach platforms. Cupples has helped strengthen the transparency between both the community/news media and the Tunica County Sheriff's Office. Following major incidents within the County, press releases are issued and shared to the website, Facebook page, and sent to news outlets.

As Grants Director, Cupples manages and oversees grant funding to support existing and planned agency projects and programs and ensures compliance with grant award policies and procedures. Cupples has received funding for Tunica County Sheriff's Office through the Mississippi Office of Highway Safety for DUI enforcement and Occupant Protection, the Division of Public Safety Planning for Project Safe Neighborhood, Mississippi Office of Homeland Security for disaster preparedness, U.S. Department of Justice - Office of Justice Programs for bulletproof vests, U.S. Department of Justice - Office of Community Oriented Policing Services for salaries and fringe benefits for ten (10) deputies, the Mississippi Leadership Council on Aging for T.R.I.A.D., and Buckle Up for Life Gift of Safety Partnership - a national car seat safety program with Toyota and Cincinnati Children's.

Additionally, Cupples assist the Administrator in ensuring accounting records are maintained and recorded in accordance with Sheriff's Office policies and procedures, Federal, State and Local laws, rules, and regulations. Assistance to the Administrator includes preparation of fiscal budget, assisting in preparing and reporting grants, payroll, purchasing, and preparing monthly financial reports.

Cupples earned a certificate from Grant Writing USA for grant writing skills. Cupples has received special training from the U.S. Department of Justice - Federal Bureau of Investigation for uniform crime system - NIBRS and was selected to attend the 2019 Fall Intelligence Meeting hosted by the Mississippi Analysis and Information Center (MSAIC).Cupples participated in Congressman Bennie G. Thompson's 2020 Federal Resources workshop and the Federal Trade Commission's 'A Common Ground' conference for consumer protection.
