Tunica, Mississippi – The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects in connection to a mobile meth lab.
On Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 8:48 p.m., officers were dispatched to Sherry Lane in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon making a traffic stop with the vehicle (red GMC Jimmy bearing Washington County, MS plates WTF313), officers noticed a strong odor coming from the vehicle. The officers also observed products in the vehicle used in the manufacturing of crystal methamphetamine.
The Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics was called to assist the Sheriff’s Office.
Sandy Renee Whatley, 23, and William George Trotter II, 24, of 1077 Brown Street in Tunica, MS were arrested and charged with manufacturing crystal methamphetamine.
No bond has been set at the time of this press release.
