Fitz Casino Robbery Suspect
The Tunica County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating two robberies that occurred in the casino resorts area.
On Saturday, May 31, 2014, sheriff deputies responded to Bally’s Casino for a reported shooting. Upon sheriff deputies’ arrival, they were informed that unknown black male attempted to rob the cage cashier. The suspect’s weapon discharged inside of the casino and the suspect immediately fled the scene. No money was taken during the robbery.
On Monday, June 2, 2014 at 12:10 a.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to Fitz Casino for a robbery. Fitz Casino personnel informed sheriff deputies that an unknown black male robbed the cage cashier of an undetermined amount of money. During the course of the robbery, the suspect’s firearm discharged inside of the casino. At this time, persons of interested are being questioned in this incident.
No one was injured during the robberies.
