Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over

DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER

(August 15-September 1, 2014)

In an effort to keep impaired drivers off the road, raise public awareness about the dangers of impaired driving, and most importantly, to save more lives, the national impaired-driving enforcement crackdown, "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over", started mid-August and will run through Labor Day 2014 (August 15 - September).

Patrol presence will be heightened during this period by setting up various checkpoints and saturations throughout the county. "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" is geared towards ticketing and arresting those that drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. By cracking down on impaired driving, fatalities will be greatly reduced on America's roadways. You can help us by reporting impaired driving. The life you save may be your own!

As always, Sheriff K.C. Hamp encourages you be safe, buckle up and be sober at all times while driving. Have a happy Labor Day weekend!
