Happy Easter from the Tunica County Sheriff's Office!

 

Here we are again at that beautiful time of year we know as Easter. Many have rightly called it Resurrection Sunday because that gets our focus more on the amazing event that took place on that day so I wanted to take a moment to send you some "Easter Encouragement"!

 

We serve a RISEN Lord - a man who was sent to this earth as a baby, who walked and lived as a man. He was later crucified and that could have been the end of the story, however we celebrate today that the ending didn't stop at crucifixion, but that He is Risen!

 

While the past year has been challenging in so many ways, we must never forget that over 2,000 years ago Jesus rose from the grave! No tomb could hold our sinless redeemer who had come to take the guilt of sin to the cross just as if He was the one who was the sinner!
