Congratulations, Micaiah Donner!

Yesterday, at the May 18, 2026, meeting of the Tunica County Board of Supervisors, the Board was pleased to present Micaiah Donner, of Dundee, and (NAME) of Tunica with a $500 scholarship. He was selected as the Tunica County recipient of the Mississippi Association of Supervisors 2026 County Employee Scholarship.
Micaiah Donner is the son of Michael and Sharon Donner. Sharon Donner is the Executive Administrator at the Tunica County Sheriff's Office. Following graduation from Rosa Fort High School, Micaiah plans to attend Northwest Community College to study Music Education and Psychology. Micaiah will be a member of the Ranger Marching Band.
The Tunica County Board of Supervisors is honored to recognize this year's recipient and his commitment to furthering his education, as we continue to support the families of our county employees.
This year, the MAS County Employee Scholarship program awarded $37,000 in scholarships to dependents of current or retired county employees around the state.
Derrick Surrette, Executive Director of MAS, said, "The MAS County Employee Scholarship program is one way that our Association can give back to the employees of our counties. We hope to have an even greater response to the program next year."
