Shooting at Levee Commissary

TIME OF INCIDENT: 12:13 A.M. (0013 Hours)
LOCATION: Levee Commissary - Tunica, MS 38676
DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT:
On Saturday, August 15, 2020 at approximately 12:13 a.m. (0013 hours), the Tunica County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call stating that one individual had been shot at the Levee Commissary. Deputies and first responders were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, deputies located one individual suffering a gunshot wound. The victim was treated on scene by Pafford and transported to the Paul Battle Arena to be airlifted by Wings to a hospital. The victim has been identified as Daniel Walker, a 22-year-old white male.
On scene, one suspect was identified and taken into custody by the Tunica County Sheriff's Office. The suspect was identified as James Tiner, a 59-year-old white male, of Senatobia Mississippi.
Tiner appeared before a judge on Sunday, August 16, 2020 and was issued a bond for $50,000.00 for the charge of aggravated assault.
