Press Release 

On Wednesday, January 20, 2021 the Tunica County Sheriff's Office received a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence. The vehicle was described by the owner as a Mercedes SUV, white in color. The owner was able to advise of a possible location of the vehicle, located in a neighboring county.  

Tunica County Sheriff's Office informed authorities in that jurisdiction of the incident. The owner of the vehicle had a GPS tracking device on this vehicle and was able to advise Tunica County Sheriff's Office that the vehicle had traveled back to Tunica County. 

Tunica County Sheriff's Office deputies routined the area. Deputies located the vehicle on the side of a roadway, unoccupied. The vehicle was observed to have been damaged as a result of this incident. This incident remains under investigation by the Tunica County Sheriff's Office.
