DRIVE SOBER OR GET PULLED OVER.jpg

In an effort to keep impaired drivers off the road, raise public awareness about the dangers of impaired driving, and most importantly, to save more lives, the national impaired-driving enforcement crackdown, "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over", started mid-August and will run through Labor Day 2021 (August 20- September 6).

Patrol presence will be heightened during this period by setting up various checkpoints and saturations throughout the county. "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" is geared toward saving lives by ticketing and arresting those that drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs. By cracking down on impaired driving, fatalities and injuries will be greatly reduced on America's roadways. You can help us by reporting impaired driving. The life you save may be your own!

As always, Sheriff K.C. Hamp encourages you be safe, buckle up and be sober at all times while driving. Also, as a friendly reminder... please don't text and drive. Have a happy and safe Holiday.
