On Sunday,  January 22, 2023 at approximately 0314 hours, Tunica County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from a victim of a shooting advising that she and several other subjects , whom she was with had been shot while walking in the parking lot towards Gold Strike Casino.  Upon deputies arrival, they observed a total of 4 victims who had received multiple gunshot wounds.

According to witnesses on scene  a white Infiniti bearing MS tags CONILOU were seen in the area of the front parking lot of Gold Strike Casino. Subjects inside of the white Infiniti appeared to have spotted the victims walking toward the casino and fired multiple shots. The white Infiniti were able to flee the scene and get away. It was also discovered that the white Infiniti had stolen tags. All of the victims were transported to Regional One Health Medical Center. All victims has been released for the exception of one.
