Burglary of TCSO Patrol Vehicles - Suspect Arrested in AL

Cordearld Gordon, 26, of Tunica, MS was released from custody of the Tunica County Detention Center on August 21, 2023. Gordon was booked into the Tunica County Detention Center November 3, 2022, for charges related to three separate burglaries of businesses.
 
Gordon appeared in the Circuit Court of Tunica County on August 21, 2023, where he was found guilty of three counts of the crime burglary of a business. Gordon was ordered to serve a term of four (4) years probation with the Mississippi Department of Corrections by Circuit Judge Nowell - in which Gordon was released from Tunica County Detention Center on August 21, 2023.
 
On Friday, September 8, 2023, at approximately 1:07 a.m., Cordearld Gordon came to the Tunica County Sheriff's Office property located at 5126 Old Mhoon Landing Road and burglarized numerous vehicles, including several patrol units.
 
Cordearld Gordon then proceeded to H&H Used Cars, located at 2091 US Hwy 61. Gordon burglarized H&H Used Cars, and then stole a vehicle from the property.
 
Gordon traveled to Hamilton, AL where he attempted to sell the stolen vehicle. Authorities with the Hamilton Police Department detained Gordon. Gordon has pending criminal charges in Hamilton, AL, where he is currently in custody, awaiting to be extradited to Tunica County.
 
Gordon is being charged with the following by Tunica County Sheriff's Office in reference to the incidents that occurred September 8, 2023:
- 2 counts - Burglary of a Vehicle
- 1 count - Trespassing
- 1 count - Taking of a Motor Vehicle
- 1 count - Burglary of a Business
