The Tunica County Sheriff's Office has received the results from the autopsy to positively identify the individual in reference to the deceased person recovered from the Mississippi River on August 21, 2023.

This individual has been identified as Mario Stewart, 50-year-old of Memphis, TN. Tunica County Sheriff's Office extends its condolences to the family.
