Suspect Arrested for Shooting into Residence

On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at approximately 1:02 a.m., the Tunica County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call stating that shots had been fired into a residence located on Cotton Street in Tunica, Mississippi. Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, sheriff deputies made contact with the homeowner who stated an individual had fired shots into their residence. Through the initial investigation, Martrevious Sanders, 32, of Tunica, Mississippi was developed as a suspect.
A warrant was issued for Sanders' arrest. On Friday, June 14, 2024, Martrevious Sanders turned himself in to authorities at the Tunica County Sheriff's Office. Sanders remains in custody at the Tunica County Jail. Martrevious Sanders is being held without bond.
Martrevious Sanders has been charged with the following in relation to this incident:
-Attempted Murder
-Conspiracy to Commit a Crime
-Shooting into a Dwelling
-Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm within a Populated Area
An arrest warrant has been issued for John Doe I in relation to this crime.
