Tunica has great Fire Departments!

Tunica County truly has some of the best trained and most professional firefighters around. We applaud Chief Jamal Jackson with North Tunica County Fire Dept. and Chief Scott Goff with Tunica Volunteer Fire Dept. and their crews of firefighters for their leadership and heroism!
When it comes to responding to fires or motor vehicle accidents, they are some of the best individuals that we work with. They are always in ready position to respond - we are fortunate as a community to have them!
Last night's fire at a local apartment could've been much worse, but the teamwork displayed created the best possible outcome.
This fire is being investigated by the State of Mississippi Fire Marshal's Office and Tunica County Fire Investigator, Commander Dennis Hopson.
